A raven is to a writing desk as a lobster is to Alice? Yup, you heard correctly. Absurd isn't it? Ridiculous is more like it. Well, forget about the SAT analogies and let go of your normality for a while, because you're late, you're late for a very important date with Second Thought Theatre's production of Kira Obolensky's Lobster Alice, based on Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland. Characters John Finch and his secretary Alice Horowitz are just your average Joe and Jane until Salvador Dali transforms their animation project from drab to totally fab. And yes, the transformation may or may not involve falling down a rabbit hole. Enter at your own discretion...you might find yourself wondering if it was all a dream. The production stars Jim Kuenzer, Kara Torvik, Joel McDonald and Austin Tindle and is directed by Jeffrey Schmidt, co-founder of The Drama Club. The show is 7 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through May 8 (with an additional show at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2) at the Addison Theatre Centre's Studio Space, 15650 Addison Road.
