Tour The Rock
If you're anything like the rest of the planet and can't get enough of the DIY Network, HGTV and all the home remodeling shows on television (yes, even Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), stop by this year's White Rock Home Tour from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to see some amazing spaces up close and personal. The tour is a docent-guided expedition to five radical residences: four mid-century modern houses and one "green" home. Design junkies will enjoy chatting with the homes' architects and landscapers in the tour's meet-and-greet sessions. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind chance to peek inside a few beautiful abodes and get the inside scoop on their design inspiration. It's also a great opportunity to grab ideas for your next renovation, or, if you're like the rest of us--just pretend you'll one day get the chance to live inside such a swell dwelling.
