If you were to brainstorm all of the possible festivals TXU would sponsor, an art fest probably wouldn't make the top of the list. Or maybe that's just us. Either way, it appears that the energy company wants to keep all of us guessing by presenting the seventh annual CityArts Festival in Fair Park this Friday through Sunday. The festival features over 250 juried artists, a crafters village, culinary and kiddie areas, as well as free admission to Fair Park museums (at selected times of course) and music by Bugs Henderson and others. Did we mention that it's all free? The festival runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Visit cityartsfestival.com for more information.
