Former stud catching prospect Taylor Teagarden had all the credentials to be a star in Arlington, but injuries and inconsistency have derailed his ability to fulfill his promise. A whopping 17 strikeouts and only one hit in 27 at-bats this year forced Texas to send him down to Double-A Frisco hoping he'd finally blossom, as the Rangers' catching duo of Matt Treanor and Max Ramirez is giving Geno Petralli thoughts about coming out of retirement.
