At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, check out Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies at Theatre Arlington on 305 W. Main St. in Arlington. The show is about some actors trying to steal a fortune from a rich, dying woman. Ya know, like Nick Cannon is trying to do with Mariah Carey. The two male actors from Leading Ladies end up disguising themselves as ladies (Why does that always seems to mean wearing muumuus, giant hats and pearls?) to get the old woman's fortune, Some Like It Hot-style. Oh, and it's set in Shakespearean times, so manage your "funny" expectations now. Yes, you should definitely bring your mom. Tickets will set you back between $15 and $19 depending on how close you want to be to the moose knuckles. Front row, bring hand sanitizer. Call 817-275-7661 or visit theatrearlington.org.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m.; Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: June 4. Continues through July 3, 2010
