If You Can't Stand The Fun...

When your mom said not to play with your food, she certainly didn't see the future of Spanish cuisine coming. Taking the enjoyment of food to a whole new level, Foodjects: Design and the New Cuisine in Spain is a display of more than 100 cooking and dining implements that complement the delectability that is new Spanish cuisine, including objects like a "Writing Spoon," origami fruit bowls, and the "Coporron" glass (a wine glass/pitcher hybrid). Be sure to check it out this weekend before it closes Sunday at the Meadows Museum, 5900 Bishop Blvd., on the SMU campus. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 per person, with discounts available. Call 214-768-2516 or visit meadowsmuseumdallas.org.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: July 16. Continues through July 25, 2010
