A velociraptor is on the loose and could dive down from the sky at any moment. It looks like the brachiosaurus might not be a vegetarian after all. You find yourself screaming "must go faster!" as you attempt to outrun more dinosaurs. And now, you're sitting perfectly still and quiet so that T-Rex won't see you and have you for lunch! Or so it would seem&--thanks to Half Price Books & Records' Movie in the Parking lot series. The classic original Jurassic Park, directed by Steven Spielberg, will be shown on a giant projection screen in the parking lot of the bookstore on Saturday. Bring lawn chairs and a snack to watch as doctors Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm traipse, run and flail through the dinosaur amusement park gone wild on Isla Nublar. Immerse yourself in the adventure as the scientists try to get the dinosaurs under control and as the children incite even more chaos. This free movie event is at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Half Price Books & Records, 5803 E. Northwest Highway. Come early at 7 p.m. for a special event in the Community Room before the show.
