A friend once conned us into watching The Last Kiss with Zach Braff and Rachel Bilson, assuring us that we'd love it. In short, Braff's character impregnates his girlfriend, feigns a desire for commitment and hooks up with a younger girl before begging his baby mama for forgiveness, which she reluctantly gives. We absolutely hated it. Its infidelity and weakness clashed with our then-idyllic dreams, whereas our friend saw a raw and honest view of relationships. We saw the same movie through different eyes. In a similar way, Sundown Collaborative Theatre seeks to interpret love in all its forms with (il)logical: a play on love at the Green Space Arts Collective, 529 Malone St. in Denton.
