If you'd like to learn how to control your scattered thoughts and clear your mind through meditation, check out a workshop at the Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center called How to Meditate: Turning the Mind into an Ally, based on the book of the same name by Tibetan Buddhist leader Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. In the workshop, psychotherapist Will Handy will teach the practices of mediation, how to handle distracting thoughts, sit with good posture and breathe correctly.
