It is commonly accepted wisdom that all good things must come to an end. And they do. It's just that some of them are reborn and begin again, like the phoenix rising from the ashes, or the renovation of the Dallas Museum of Art's Center for Creative Connections, 1717 N. Harwood St. The usual first floor location of the Center, or C3, is closed temporarily to allow for the installation of a new exhibition, but C3 has risen again in its temporary home at the fourth floor Tower Gallery. Meanwhile, visiting artist Jill Foley has created a dynamic installation for the temporary space, which will be on display until C3 moves back to the first floor on September 25. It's called The Living Room, and features recycled cardboard, which Foley used to create makeshift home furnishings in an active living space. C3 has always been a place for visitors of all ages to have a creative, educational experience with art, but now, it feels a little more like home.
