Wanting to make your life a little more environmentally friendly? Learn more about how to live a greener life and about the nature that surrounds us, and have a good time with the whole family at the third annual Dallas Green Festival, Saturday September 18 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The festival is a day outdoors to help raise awareness and inspire environmental stewardship through activities that are creative and exciting. Activities will include a monarch butterfly tagging and release, face painting, various trainings, product demonstrations, live music and food, of course. For the more adventurous, there will be a climbing wall and zip line! In addition, there will be a Smart Car rally through the streets to benefit the Texas Discovery Gardens' Children's Education Programs.
