Yo bro-dawgs, round up that skirt you took home from the Loon last night (or was it Social House?) and iron your best whisker-washed $200 Ed Hardy khakis: it's time for the All About Uptown Festival. The day-long event showcases the best of Uptown, which according to organizers is food, beer and cemetery tours, and according to us is the part of Uptown you can get out of the fastest, but... details, really. Centered around the intersection of Fairmount and McKinney, the festival will feature chef demonstrations, artisan booths, Victorian home tours and a fall fashion trend report. We're also hoping for how-to demonstrations on tanning while intoxicated and getting the most out of loans from Mom and Dad. Admission's free all day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. this Saturday.
