The best way to spice up a party is to grab hold of a theme and take it as far as you possibly can. Having an animal-themed party? Make the guests wear animal face masks and serve them nothing but cream-cheese penguins. The event chairs of the 2010 Great Gatsby party really know how to do this. Their second annual soiree is happening from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Union Station, 400 S. Houston St., and is guaranteed to be totally '20s. Decor will be art deco, mob bosses and flappers will be everywhere and folks will be sipping mint juleps and bathtub gin. (Plus, they'll be serving hors d'oeuvres by Wolfgang Puck Catering. People from the '20s really liked hors d'oeuvres.) Tickets for "Get Your Flap On!" are $75, and proceeds benefit the AIDS Interfaith Network.
