What A Drag

It's hard out here for a...liberal arts grad. Truth is an English (or history or sociology) degree just doesn't go as far as it used to. Sometimes it seems like you end up paying six figures for a four-year degree that guarantees you a whopping 10 bucks an hour. Some crafty grads--like Allison and Angela in the play U.S. Drag--resort to not-quite-legal, or at least not-quite-ethical, means to increase their income. These two women make pocket money by scamming New York men, but have their eyes on a bigger score: a $100,000 reward for capturing a serial killer. The plays opens 8 p.m. Thursday at Collin College's John Anthony Theatre, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, and runs through October 17. Tickets are $6 to $8. Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sun., Oct. 10, 2:15 p.m.; Wed., Oct. 13, 8 p.m.; Sat., Oct. 16, 2:15 p.m.; Sun., Oct. 17, 2:15 p.m. Starts: Oct. 7. Continues through Oct. 16, 2010
