It's been right around six months since the devastating fire that devoured four beloved bars and restaurants on Lower Greenville Avenue. And while the time has passed and more and more information has leaked out about insurance (or the lack thereof) claims, lost jobs and the cause of the blaze, the businesses on the famous street have worked toward putting that disaster behind them. And there's no greater way to celebrate the eclectic food selection and funky vibe of this beloved street than at the Taste of Greenville Avenue (or TOGA for short) Saturday. The second annual event hosted by the Greenville Avenue Restaurant Association--set to benefit the Robert E. Lee/Stonewall Jackson Elementary School PTA programs and the Woodrow Wilson High School Marching Band--will feature food from more than 30 Greenville Avenue eateries, including Terilli's, one of the restaurants affected by the fire. The event will also include live entertainment and local artists, kicking off at 11 a.m. and running till 7 p.m.; menu items from featured restaurants will range from $2 to $6.
