So you think you're prepared for the pending zombie apocalypse? Hours of Left 4 Dead and lessons from screen geniuses like Simon Pegg and Woody Harrelson have given us a decent amount of training, but one never really knows how they'll react in the moment of a zombie attack. Get some on the job training this weekend and face all of the monsters (zombies and vampires and mummies, oh my!) at the Dallas ScareGrounds (2001 Irving Blvd.). Visit the 23,000 square foot "facility of fear," which features a monster festival ground and three haunted houses (The Necrotorium, The Terrortorium, and The Hallucinatorium in 3D) designed to scare the bejeezus out of you. Face all of your fears--or run away screaming bloody murder--Thursday from 7:30 p.m. until at least 11 p.m., with weekend hours until 1 a.m. Admission is $19 to $27, which gets you into all three haunted houses as well as the festival grounds.
