Say Hello

Alright you effing cock-a-roaches, think back to your favorite Al Pacino movie and picture your favorite scene. Now imagine yourself at the AT&T Performing Arts Center for An Evening with Al Pacino asking the man himself any of the questions you've had about performances of his that you love, hate, relish, despise or find downright perplexing. Pacino is giving an on-stage interview at 8 p.m. Tuesday, featuring some of his film clips and his views as a director and actor both in theater and in film--similar to Inside the Actors Studio only without the indelible, delectable and truly scrumtrulescent James Lipton as moderator. From The Godfather to his recent Emmy-winning performance as Dr. Jack Kevorkian in You Don't Know Jack, Pacino's got a near 40-year stretch of creative work to cram in a 90-minute interview, so don't bring a bunch of questions about Scarface or Dick Tracy for his Q&A session with the audience at the end (but surprisingly enough Pacino got a Golden Globe nomination for Tony Montana in Scarface, so props on that one). You can purchase tickets ($30 to $150) now on the AT&T Performance Center's website. Visit attpac.org for more information and seating selections.
Tue., Nov. 16, 8 p.m., 2010
