Bet if you knew that when you had kids you'd be sentenced to years of shelling out wads of cash to see dim-witted 3-D films created for the sole purpose of parental wallet-shredding (we are looking at you, Mastermind), you'd have gotten that puppy, right? And maybe built that wet bar. Vacationed in Europe. But now you're stuck with the screamers, and even they're getting bored with formulaic pop-out movies. The solution: Give 'em real-life action in the form of Dinosaurs Unearthed at the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science. Instead of filtering the terrible lizards through dorky glasses, Dinosaurs Unleashed features nine full-size robotic replicas that move and roar. So bring extra diapers. Kids can dig up imitation fossil specimens and watch demonstrations on how dinosaurs defended themselves. And if you want to dump the little ones overnight, the museum's also hosting sleepovers and camps--finally, an opportunity for you to watch a movie featuring people doing grown-up things like having sex or serial killing. Dinosaurs Unearthed runs through May at the museum, 1318 S. 2nd Ave. in Fair Park. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
