If the pretties of Cirque du Soleil were to find themselves on a street corner in New York, one of two things would happen: They'd get a smackdown unlike any other, or they'd emerge from the experience looking a little something like Cirque Dreams Illumination. A stunning sight all its own, Cirque Dreams and its performers know how rough-and-tumble, gritty and gorgeous places like the Big Apple truly are, and they've brought this feel to the stage in an all-new touring show. With all the bells and whistles expected of such a performance, Cirque Dreams Illumination features 27 performers, including aerial acrobats, dancers, singers, musicians and contortionists, in an entirely new way. By mixing the wonder of traditional "cirque" performances with the sights and sounds of a big city on the edge, this Broadway-inspired show has something for everyone--no matter the population of your hometown.
