The best way to get people out for a holiday fair is to put Fletcher's corny dogs on the menu. As if you didn't get your fill in October, you can enjoy corn dogs, funnel cakes and all of your other favorite fair foods as you get your holiday on at the MetroPCS Fair Park Holiday. The day-long event will be held at Centennial Hall (adjacent to the Museum of the American Railroad), and will also feature outdoor entertainment along the Esplanade. On your to-do list for the day are events like craft-making, puppet shows, dance performances, live music and a shopping bazaar, and you'll have plenty of time to take in the requisite "dancing water" shows at the Esplanade Fountain, which will take place hourly. The day of family fun will conclude with a concert by the Dallas Wind Symphony at 5:15 p.m., the official city of Dallas tree-lighting ceremony at 6:15 p.m. and a fireworks grand finale. It all takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is free to the public, and includes free admission to all Fair Park museums from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (but does not include special exhibits or IMAX).
