There's nothing like living in a tiny-ass apartment and overhearing your neighbors going at it when their "love boat" docks on your shared wall. Last weekend, we schemed to kill the mood for our own next-door nymphos, pitting the not-so-sexy Pandora Christmas channel against their industrial techno mood music. Between Bette Midler's "Mele Kalikimaka" and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas," Pandora shamed us. We scrambled to turn off the station's Trans Siberian Orchestra selection, fearing it would only make matters worse--or in their case, better--but not wanting to miss out on "Carol of the Bells" ourselves. Inadvertently reminded of the true spirit of Christmas, the spirit of giving, we had to give TSO a hand. Who would have thought holiday music could sound sexy? Hear for yourself when the TSO blasts out some yuletide, heavy-metal, neo-classical treats at 3 and 8 p.m., Sunday at the American Airlines Center. Tickets start at $36. Visit ticketmaster.com.
