The Portland Trail Blazers have been hovering under .500 and in the bottom of the Western Conference Northwest division while your Dallas Mavericks are trying to close in on San Antonio for first in the Southwest division. But that doesn't mean it will be a blowout when they meet Tuesday. It may have looked that way in the first half of the teams' December 15 meeting, but Portland outscored Dallas in the second half and made it a fight all the way to the last buzzer. Hopefully the Mavs do a better job of holding onto the lead, something they've struggled with so far, when the two teams meet again. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the American Airlines Center. Tickets ($2.98 to $127.88 and up) are at mavs.com, and the broadcast is on Fox Sports Southwest.
