Everybody, including the world's top assassins, is against Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau. When the insane former chief inspector, Charles Dreyfus, reaches his breaking point, he tries to blackmail the rest of the world into killing his replacement, the world's most bumbling detective, Inspector Clouseau. In The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Inspector Clouseau fights for his life and mankind's future in the most bizarre and dangerous caper of his brilliantly successful and utterly clumsy career. The Pink Panther Strikes Again debuted in 1976 and featured one of the industry's most praised comedians, Peter Sellers. This particular Panther was the fifth in the series, which from 1963 to 2009 featured the lives of inspectors Closeau and Dreyfus. Often believed to solve his cases by sheer happenstance, decide for yourself if Inspector Clouseau is the world's most incompetent or the world's most ingenious detective. Garland Civic Theatre's Children On Stage presents the classic British slapstick comedy at 10 a.m. Thursday and Friday, and 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Granville Arts Center, 300 N.
