Kitchen of Champions

This weekend, Dallas will be overrun with people from all over the world embracing the chance to revel in all the Super Bowl festivities and fun (and let's be real, celebrities) they stands to bring to the Lone Star State. And for those people with deep pockets but no tickets to the coveted game, the Metroplex will have a host of other opportunities to celebrate the biggest sports contest of the year. Premier among them is the ultimate Spaghetti Western, set to benefit The Moyer Foundation's Camp Erin and the Mario Batali Foundation. The event will draw renowned chefs Mario Betali and Tim Love along with co-hosts Emeril Legasse, Guy Fieri (here's hoping he's rocking the stark white Oakleys...on the back of his head) and Texas Ranger Tommy Hunter for a Super Bowl party unlike any other. The night will feature cooking demonstrations as well as cocktails, live and silent auctions, and live musical entertainment. The party is set for 5 p.m. Friday at the Love Shack So7, 817 Matisse Dr. in Fort Worth. Tickets are a whopping $500, but all of the proceeds go to two very worthwhile causes. For tickets and more information visit moyerfoundation.org.
Fri., Feb. 4, 5-9 p.m., 2011
