Stretching the limits of the two-dimensional space, Conduit Gallery will host three new exhibitions, which will defy the audience's understanding of static structure. In his latest collection, New Work, Robert Jessup sets out to reconfigure the known world by blurring the lines of structure and space. Matt Clark's Manufactured Beauty guides audiences through the dynamic movements of color and atmosphere. Working with vibrant enamels, Clark creates reflective surfaces that echo the activity of his skilled hand. Drawing upon her background in the film industry, Jacobine Van Der Meer's The Halo and The Humbuguses presents wax sculptures of the heads of wounded World War I soldiers to explore our collective proximity to war. The Conduit Gallery, 1626 C. Hi Line Drive, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. The exhibition runs until March 26.
