If you’re a fan of Tupperware, the popular line of plastic storage containers and serving pieces, you've probably attended one of those legendary Tupperware parties and bought your fair share of pastel cake carriers and bowls with snap-on lids. Tupperware is still cool, and now you're likely to find a fiery red manual food processor or a stainless steel frying pan in the assortment of products at a Tupperware shindig. These parties have become a fixture in pop culture history and made some hosts a nice chunk of change. Now Dixie Longate, the top seller of Tupperware products, is headed to Fort Worth to share the secret to selling plastic kitchenware in her off-Broadway show, Dixie's Tupperware Party. Hailing from an Alabama trailer park, Ms. Longate tours the country promoting the newest Tupperware products and telling tales of her famous parties. She'll even be giving some lucky audience member pieces of their favorite kitchenware. Embrace your passion for plastic at McDavid Studio at Bass Hall, Fourth and Calhoun Streets in Fort Worth.
