If you've seen the classic movie, Goodfellas, you should already know that Tommy don't shine shoes anymore. But that's Tommy DeVito, and we're here to talk about Tommy Tune, the timeless dancer, singer and choreographer. He's won nine Tony awards, so please, don't ask him to go home and get his shine box (show some respect, will ya?), and before you run home to get yours, it's safe to assume that Broadway's tap-dancing and singing sensation already had his shoes shined. In his current show, Steps in Time, Tune tells the story of his life through dance routines. The Broadway performer will be accompanied by the Manhattan Rhythm Kings as he kicks off Dallas Summer Musicals at the Music Hall at Fair Park, 909 First Ave. Steps in Time runs through March 20. Tickets are $15 to $70. Call 1-800-982-2787 or visit dallassummermusicals.org for more info.
March 15-20, 8 p.m.; March 19-20, 2 p.m., 2011
