If you're like us and can't get enough of cute dogs and doggy photos, Frisco Arts is hosting a free event featuring local photographer Fran Reisner, signing copies of her new book The Dogs of Central Park. The book features portraits of some of New York City's finest canines -- many breeds and mixes included -- all set in the four seasons of Central Park. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Mazie's Mission, a local no-kill rescue organization, that will be on-site for the events, along with adoption-ready pooches. Heel at the Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 North Dallas Parkway, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 972-668-5180.
Thu., April 28, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; April 29-30, 5:30-10 p.m.; Sun., May 1, 4:30-7:30 p.m., 2011
