With the atrocities more than 60 years behind them, the generation of Holocaust survivors is rapidly diminishing. But just because the stories will stop being told in the first person doesn't mean that they will stop being told. That's a good thing. Sharing stories leads to awareness. Each year, the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance presents an educational event on Yom Hashoah, aka Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year's lecture is "The Holocaust: Does it Defy Words." The Yom Hashoah event takes place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Temple Emanu-El, 8500 Hillcrest Road. Admission is free. Call 214-741-7500 or visit dallasholocaustmuseum.org.
