Standing Up In His Brother's Shadow

Living in the shadows of an older sibling can be tough. Ask Tony Rock. His brother dropped out of high school and worked in fast-food restaurants, which sounds pretty easy to top, but then his brother also became one of the most prolific comedians alive. Yeah, that Rock. Tony doesn't have his own TV show, but he has garnered international acclaim in the stand-up world. It may be difficult to believe he's not a copy of his big brother, but you should see for yourself. Tony Rock performs Thursday through Sunday night at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road. For show time and ticket information call 972-404-8501 or visit improv.com.
Thu., June 9, 8 p.m.; Fri., June 10, 8 & 10:30 p.m.; Sat., June 11, 6:30, 9 & 11:30 p.m., 2011
