Better start stretching now, because come this Friday, there will be much wiggling to be had as everyone's favorite Aussie children's group, The Wiggles, invades the Allen Event Center for a pair of performances. The Big Birthday Tour features not only the colorfully-shirted Wiggles, but also... wait for it... Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog! The interactive performance that The Wiggles have become famous for is sure to include lots of singing, lots of dancing, and lots of yelling "Wake up, Jeff!" whenever that curiously sleepy purple Wiggle falls asleep on stage. With the most successful preschool entertainers on the planet, a feather-adorned pirate, a bipedal octopus, and thousands of smitten children all tucked inside an upper-class Dallas suburb, expect nothing less than a party. The wiggling commences at the Allen Event Center this Friday at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com, and they range from $15 to $75. Parents: A couple shots, or perhaps some hard drugs before this show couldn't hurt.
