I do love Deep Ellum. I went to the arts festival there this year with my sister, and man- it was packed! Not like it usually is a at all. I'm not sure if I liked it. But thats besides the point... I love how the cultured look of the area has been preserved. Older buildings that have loads of character, even the streets all have this feel to it that the rest of Dallas has lost with their shiny new buildings.There really isn't any place I've been to quite like Deep Ellum... Although, you do hafta be careful and watch yourself in some of the neighborhood. But thats like that most places you go.
All in all, I really do love Deep Ellum. :) <3
