More About

Even though Halloween has come and gone, the folks over at the McKinney Performing Arts Center are keeping the spook alive. On November 5, the MPAC, located in the renovated historic Collin County Courthouse that was rumored to be haunted, will host a paranormal lecture series. Speakers for the event include Professor Jan Holden, author of The Handbook of Near-Death Experiences: Thirty years of Investigation; Timothy Barth, chair of the department of psychology at Texas Christian University; Michael John Weaver, director of the Texas Parapsychology Society; medium Marcel Cairo; and Ty Phillips, an investigator for the Texas Advance Research Team . Tickets for the event cost $17 when purchased online, or $20 the day of the event. The lecture runs from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Sat., Nov. 5, 1-5:30 p.m., 2011
