Truly owning Dallas Cowboys fandom comes with a lot of responsibility, but not much payoff. One must, for instance, calmly take the ribbing from the rest of the country (bullies!) when a disappointing season circles the drain. There’s also the torturous purgatory between a losing season and a wild-card berth. Like Morgan Freeman said in The Shawshank Redemption, “Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.” Keep that in mind boys, as Thanksgiving descends upon us. The Cowboys gotta beat the hell outta Miami, especially with Eli Manning and the Giants looming not once, but twice, on the schedule. Jerry, Jason and Tony, give us something to be thankful for.
