The Stiletto Stampede for the Cure, a 100-yard dash in heels, is coming to Dallas next month for its first stampede. Before you go out and maybe break a heel or two, dash over to Tootsies in Dallas for free admission to the Stiletto Stampede Kickoff Party. Strut your perfect pink outfit for breast-cancer self-awareness while selecting your stilettos, sipping on some cocktails and practicing your one, two step. The pink ladies (and men) of Dallas are aiming to break the world record for most people to run in heels at one time during the stampede. This event isn’t all about records. It’s about encouraging young women and men to understand the risks of breast cancer -- all while looking fabulous in pink stilettos. Save the date for Thursday from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. located at 8300 Preston Road, where all attendees can preregister for the main event, which takes place March 3.
