Shed Your Blues in Deep Ellum

Deep Ellum, a neighborhood known for its ups and downs, has long been home to a diverse and creative population. The 18th annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival will hit the streets April 6-8 celebrating its deep-rooted history. The festival features works by 200 decorative and visual artists, 100 band performances on five stages, street performers, a Pet Parade and an insane amount of food and drinks. This unique six-block gathering occurs the first week of every April and coincides with Easter Sunday this year. Life in Deep Ellum Church is hosting a nondenominational service at 11 a.m. Sunday on the Main Stage. Admission to the festival is free and the fun happens in the 2100-2600 blocks of Main Street. No outside food or drinks are allowed at the festival. For more detailed information, visit DeepEllumArtsFestival.com or call 214-855-1881.
