You probably grew up thinking of flea markets as crusty, dusty and every other -usty. Overflowing with busted-up dolls, chipped ceramics and rusted-out car parts for some reason. Fortunately, the Dallas Flea is none of those things. It’s a totally new time, mofos. And flea markets are in. I’m sure there’s a “What’s Hot” list out there somewhere that says so. Anyway, the Dallas Flea has been around for three years and it’s only getting bigger and better. You’ll find furniture, clothing, jewelry, art, live music and more from vendors from “Austin to Abilene.” (And probably even some non-A cities, too.) This particular Dallas Flea also promises the “biggest group of mobile vendors to date.” And if it’s sold in an Airstream it’s extra good. It all takes place at South Side on Lamar, 1409 S.
