In the span of the past month, Sarah Jaffe graced our cover, Zhora reported for My First Show duty, and we had John Dufilho, aka John Singer Sergeant, interview co-hort Salim Nourallah in the wake of his new collaborative self-titled album. With that business taken care of, this is one of the more solid local bills to fall into our lap so far this year, and these three acts will no doubt be doing great things with the remaining half of 2012.
Why does there have to be a comparison? From allvantage points, Zhora is an Artist who made a brave, yet commendable decision to break away. Both well-received, Zhora and Ishi are very different musically. Zhora's innovation and popularity during its freshman year, stands independently strong when "stacked up" with Ishi.
