I could not agree more. Have not been back since our first visit closer to opening day. Its a bummer for those of us in Oak Cliff that would utilize the later hours. So much potential....

Your Baseball Season Guide to Pre- and Post-Game Eats and Drinks in Arlington
By Lauren Drewes Daniels
By 10:30 p.m., I decided I'd had enough of Bar 303. There were a few other places on my list to visit and the night had just begun. So I took one last gulp of my beer and went out, in search of another bar like the Peppermill or Soho, where heavy souls go to feel a little lighter.

The last few times I went to Snuffers, they had some oldies station cranked up. I asked the bartender about the tone it set, and they said it was the manager's favorite music and was always on. Whatever, I can't stand being doo-wopped the entire time I'm there to drink and hang out, so I go somewhere else to chill and enjoy a musical variety. Music is VERY important!
That seems to be the problem with a lot of restaurants / pubs, it's always about the manager. Most of those ignorant asses have had more than one managing job in their life, to stupid to realize it's about your customers that *will return or not*. I would not let them manage a commode!
BUT; don't crank the music up so loud everyone has to holler across the table to talk to someone!! It's called atmosphere.
Internet jukeboxes are TERRIBLE. The bar loses all control over its atmosphere and one jackass can disturb the whole place. Bars need to decide what they are and have appropriate music. Music is very important.
Yes it is!!!!!!!!!! A friend of mine from KC opened a Irish pub a few years ago on the street car line. The IDIOT that managed it played hip hop, rap, and 80's SHIT and drove away those who wanted an Irish pub / restaurant with Irish music, NOT some crap from South Dallas. They closed it for lack of customers.
Are you insinuating that only those that live in South Dallas prefer hip hop, rap and 80's? Maybe your friend should have paid more attention to what he was investing his money in and fire the dickhead who would have preferred to run things his way.
