So much more than just a hotel, the Belmont has been doing a lot to push the arts in Dallas. Alongside its summer concert series, the Belmont continues to showcase local artist with its Art with a View series. This month brings us the photography of Lorie Leigh Lawrence. Lawrence, of the self-styled 3L Photography, will exhibit 30 of her shots ranging from Texas and Western lifestyle, to the more contemporary fare. Each photo will be displayed in handmade "rough stock frames" made by the artist herself. The exhibition opens at 6 p.m. Wednesday, and runs through August 6. On opening night, Lawrence will also sell limited edition-signed prints, while the Belmont runs happy hour drink specials. Visit 3Lphotography.com to take a look at Lawrence's work.
