They’re identical twins! Who don’t know each other! Comedy! Second Thought Theatre winds up its eighth season with The Bomb-itty of Errors, a hip-hop take on Shakespeare. Written by Jordan Allen-Dutton, Jason Catalano, GQ and Erik Weiner, with music by Heath Gage and Steven Michael Walters, the show, according to director Amy Corcoran, is “a completely fresh and energized” retelling of the Bard’s first comedy, in which two masters and two servants are mistaken for each other. Zac Kelty, of Australia’s Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble, plays Dromio of Ephesus. Joseph Holt plays servant Antipholus. Drew Wall and Walters play the corresponding twin master and servant. (Yep, Shakespeare created the first known “long-lost twins” gimmick.) The show opens at 8 p.m., Friday, July 6, and runs through July 22 at Bryant Hall (next to Kalita Humphreys Theater), 3636 Turtle Creek Blvd. For tix, www.2tt.co or 866-811-4111. Pay-what-you-can-at-the-door is 7:30 p.m., Monday, July 9.
