Dallas Comic Con, scoot over! You’ve had your turn. The Arlington Hilton will play host to the North Texas Comic Book Shows’ fourth quarterly event on Saturday. The comic book show will bring together 35 vendors, and thousands of modern and vintage comics will be available, in addition to comic collectibles and CGS rated comics. For the unenlightened, these are the things for which comic book geeks save for years. Artist Sam de la Rosa (of Spider-man and Venom fame) and other artists will be making special guest appearances. For the comic geek who must see The Dark Knight Rises but doesn’t want to cut into his comic book budget, there will also be drawings for free tickets. The show is open from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $1. The Arlington Hilton is located at 2401 East Lamar Blvd. in Arlington. For more information, visit comicbooksdallas.com.
