Beef or pork? The battle of the dinner table has spread into the world of indie baseball as the defending American Association Champion and current top-seeded Grand Prairie Airhogs square off against the 27-25 Kansas City T-bones on Friday at QuikTrip Park. For those whose baseball knowledge is limited to the Texas Rangers, this isn’t Major League Baseball. You won’t see Yu Darvish here, but the smaller leagues have a quirky charm of their own. On the plus side, the Airhogs have proven they can bring home the bacon in the finals. What do you say to that, Rangers? The showdown begins at 7:05 p.m. Tickets range from $8 to $15. QuikTrip Park is located at 1600 Lonestar Parkway in Grand Prairie. For more information, visit airhogsbaseball.com.
