Let’s do a bit of math here. What do you get when you take a three nerdy standup comedians, give them a podcast, add in celebrity nerd guests and perform it live? You end up with The Nerdist Podcast Live! Hosts Chris Hardwick (Web Soup and Talking Dead), Matt Mirra and Jonah Ray discuss all topics geek, adding their own brand of humor to the worlds of Star Trek and comic books. No other place will you hear a grown man give cries of joy at meeting Wil Wheaton (OK, there was that one time at Comic Con, but we aren’t counting that.) They will be taping the weekly podcast before a nerd studio audience this Saturday. Before the taping, the three hosts will perform standup comedy. The show begins at 8 p.m. Saturday in the South Side Music Hall at Gilley’s Texas, 1135 South Lamar St. Tickets range from $25 to $30.
