Are you the kind of sophisticated Dallasite who enjoys dining on sushi while listening to jazz? And Japanese drum lines? If so, Tei-An Soba House has what you need Monday. Tei-An celebrates its four-year anniversary in full party mode, with Japanese drum group Fujisan Kaen Daiko and local jazz star Hunter Sullivan with his three-man band providing the night’s entertainment. For a $20 admission fee, patrons will be served a variety of Japanese summer hors d’oeuvres, Japanese beer and sake (sake!). Tei-An also has a kick-ass patio with an awesome view of our beloved Dallas skyline. And even if sushi isn’t your thing, do some good, as a part of the admission will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to help the people of Japan who were affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Tei-An is located in the One Arts Plaza, 1722 Routh St. Call 214-220-2828 or visit tei-an.com.
