Your Baseball Season Guide to Pre- and Post-Game Eats and Drinks in Arlington
By Lauren Drewes Daniels
The album art for Bludded Head's new record pretty much tells you what you're getting into: It's a drawing by singer-guitarist Nevada Hill's daughter, and she's gracefully inked up a thundercloud that is both smiling and crying while shooting lightning. Once you get inside the wax, the trio digs its nails into that viscous doom metal. Hill says the first 100 records come with "elephant poop envelopes," so that is their selling point. Varying degrees of local heaviness come via openers Terminator 2, Shiny Around the Edges and Akkolyte.
