Sometimes the best way to approach romance is through complete denial, or at least that's what Benedick and Beatrice would have you believe in Much Ado About Nothing, Ol' Shake's comedic tale of criss-crossed love. Of course that avenue of rejection never holds out: most people break down eventually when facing lust head-on. Others, like this couple, are tricked by a villain into professing their romantic adoration for one another. Which, if you think about it, kinda makes that villain awesome. There's more tangly romance to endure, and you can see it all for cheap today at Hamon Hall, that intimate performance space inside the Winspear (2403 Flora St.). This staged reading is part of the AT&T Center's pledge to perform the entire Collected Works of Shakespeare over the next five years, so don't miss out now. You'll never catch back up. Tickets purchased in advance are $10 with Pay-what-you-can at the door. Much Ado About Nothing is performed for two nights only, Sunday the 23 at 3 p.m. and Monday the 24 at 7 p.m..
