You’ve Been Busch-Whacked, Bill

With all the mud-slinging that’s occurred this election cycle, it’s hard to imagine that there’s enough of the sludgy substance left to muck about in. Luckily, there’s slime to spare, and rather than wallowing about it in like so many of our politicians we should revel in it! Claim it as our own! Use it for good — not evil! And lo, the good people of the Armed Forces Foundation have ventured to turn the Texas Motor Speedway grounds (3545 Lone Star Circle) into one big ol’ muddy obstacle course from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday. You can run, jump, climb and crawl through two miles of mire during the Busch-Whacked 2012 Mud Run, and you’ll be joined by some of the NASCAR personalities on-site for the upcoming weekend’s races. Your $55 registration fee benefits the men and women of the military and their families, giving your mud-slinging way more purpose than anything we’ve seen since the debates began. Visit armedforcesfoundation.org/busch-whacked-2012.php to register and for more information.
