Everyone's celebrating the novelty of the impending end of the Mayan calendar tonight with very tongue-in-cheek "apocalypse" parties, and this is one of the better lineups to be watching when a fireball turns us all into screaming skulls. (Or whatever is supposed to happen; I fell asleep halfway through that 2012 movie.) Ashley Cromeens' new solo electronic project, Def Rain, headlines the night, along with trio Shiny Around the Edges, fresh from the release of The Night is a Disco. Heavy drum/bass duo Cerulean Giallo and equally heavy Secret Cakes start the countdown.
