My wife and I got a babysitter a couple of weeks ago to check out Bowl & Barrel. When we arrived, we were told the wait for a lane would be an hour or so. Fine--so we go into the bar area to have dinner. An hour and twenty minutes later, we've finished dinner and are ready to bowl. So I go back to see if we have a lane, and I'm told that the wait is going to be another hour-and-a-half.
So let me get this straight--when you told me the wait for a lane was going to be an hour, it was really three hours? Give me a break. You just wanted me to stay at your place and eat your overpriced and mediocre food rather than going elsewhere, as I surely would have done.
I'm so glad I got a babysitter to spend the evening on a mediocre dining experience and no bowling.
